Wow…
By adminI cannot believe it has been over 6 months since my last blog. Please forgive me!
I have been extremely busy. But I have exciting news!
I am taking a photography class! So I will hopefully be sharing what I learn with you as the class progresses. I have already learned much more than I could have imagined. There is a lot more to photography than I even realized.
In the class I am using film instead of my usual digital photography. I am now torn between which I like better, film or digital. Both are amazing! I am using an SLR (single-lens reflex camera), a used Canon TLB. All it’s settings are manual so everything I’ve been learning is completely new to me.
Here’s something you may want to look into. I will probably go into this in some later blogs but here’s something pretty basic that I’ve learned that might be helpful to you.
The lower your aperture (i.e. f/2.8) the bigger the “hole” which lets in MORE light to capture your photo…you think sometimes it may be the other way around for some reason…but it’s not. Lower aperture=MORE light, higher aperture=less light.
That’s all I can do for now. I’ll try to blog more often. Thanks for reading!
