Hello Fellow Photographers!

I wanted to take a few minutes today to share a bit about High-speed Photography. I have recently become extremely fascinated with this style of photography. Although I have yet to take these incredible high-speed photos, I intend to attempt at some point in the future.

Your shutter speed has to be extremely quick to capture any decent high-speed photographs. Once I test out this style, I will share more on my experience and what shutter speeds work for me. Until that time, I’ll be doing some more research on the style. This will take me a few days or maybe weeks, since I have another job and little time to devote to my favorite pass time. However, I’ll share with you what I find out, so that if I am unable to test out the high-speed technique – you can attempt it even before I do.

But! You have to take an interest and have a passion for this style of photography before we go any further… because if you don’t, then you’ll simply want to give up. Although I haven’t had experience in this area of photography, I can already tell you it is a very difficult to capture some of these incredible images. So it may not be for everyone. But if you have a passion for learning high-speed photography and want to master this style, by all means – go for it!

Hey guys!

Alrighty, so I thought I would share something with you all (though I’m sure my readers have fizzled out quite a bit).

I was recently refered to a particular website by another photographer, so I thought I would share this great site as well. I haven’t had much time to really dive into it… but what I’ve seen so far has proven quite promising for any photographer level and interest.

It’s called MPix. It’s a site after my own heart.

This site is devoted to photography… and you don’t have to be a pro, or even just a beginner. It has stuff for all levels. You can upload your own photos, buy prints, share albums, join their photography community, read/post to their forum, purchase different photography products, etc. It’s really an awesome site!

Hello all!

As you have probably noticed, I have not updated my blog and website for many many months (maybe even longer than that!). Life gets in the way sometimes, and the ability to focus on photography has become less and less of a priority during that time. Things have begun to settle down some, and I am renewing my interest in taking pictures, learning, and sharing more about photography. So if you happen to stumble across my website, please come back – as I will be updating more in the coming months (and hope to stay consistant with this, finally). Feel free to follow me on Twitter, leave a comment, or share any ideas you may have on how I can improve my site. I welcome any constructive criticism.

Oh, also – I do not currently have my photos with me. My portfolio, cds, and albums are in storage somewhere. So once I find them and take some more pictures, I intend to share them! So stayed tuned for that as well.
